Snow Squall Watch in effect for:
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
A frontal snow squall is possible tonight followed by lake effect snow squalls into Sunday.

What:
Near zero visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm.

When:
Overnight into Sunday.

Additional information:
A strong cold front will pass through the region tonight. This front will bring strong wind gusts and a possible frontal snow squall, briefly reducing visibility to near zero in heavy snow and blowing snow. Once the front passes, lake effect snow squalls off of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay are expected to develop. The primary hazard with these snow squalls will continue to be near zero visibility, as strong northwest winds and blowing snow will continue through the day.

Travel may be hazardous.

Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
